Very early in the New Year I got a call back saying my parts were in and available for installation, I had gotten a quote, which I considered very reasonable. I expected that price to be for the motor and track only, with installation and taxes to be extra. I was very surprised when Nick, the Installer, told me my quote was the total price. The installation was quick and professional and Nick made sure all the other moving parts were in good shape and lubricated as well. I recommend Valley Garage Doors very highly. read less

When they didn't show, I called at 9:24 and was told that they mistakenly booked me for the morning of the day that I actually called them 3 days earlier. They called me back after checking to see if they could get someone out and said no problem someone would be there in 1 hour to 1 hour & 20 minutes. After 2 hours and 14 minutes the father called and said that the techs were held up at a bigger job and he would call them to see if they could still come out and install my opener. He called me back after 20 minutes and said that they would finish up the job that they were on and call me when they were on their way in an hour. 2 hours later I called them back, got voicemail and left a message. The father called me back 5 minutes later, said one of the techs had an issue with their son, had to go home and that they wouldn't be able to get to my job that day. So I spent 6 & 1/2 hours at home on a day that I took off work, patiently waiting and basically got the runaround of excuses. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE IT, DON'T KEEP MAKING PROMISES THAT YOU CAN'T KEEP!!**************************************************************************Followup to Response from the owner:Had you been upfront with me from from the start I would of been more understanding. read less

He was very competent. He had the parts required to do the job and said he could fix it there and then. He replaced the spring, balanced the door, lubricated the rollers and the chain drive and adjusted the travel limits, all at a very fair price. Our staff unfortunately damaged a garage door at a house we were cleaning out. The customer was not upset, but she was on tight schedule because of a pending house sale. I called these guys at 10 AM asking if they can do it. By 12 PM Trevor was on site and taking measurement and giving me a quote. By 2 PM same day the damage has been repaired, the bill was sent to me, and our customer was thrilled that she doesn't have to worry about anything.AbsolutelyFantasticService!Thank you very much, saved the day. read less

It... read moreWhile I was visiting my mom, the top metal strip on her garage door pulled off the wooden door. It seemed like a simple replacement of the screws that had pulled out, but when Trevor arrived that day he discovered that the bracket holding up the garage door rail was sagging. Upon checking, he discovered that the bracket had not been installed properly 30 years previously, and was only sunk into the gyproc,not a stud! We had been very lucky that the door had not fallen down! Trevor reattached the bracket, this time correctly into a stud, then checked the other rail bracket - same problem, which he fixed. He then tightened all the bolts and lubed the spring and chains. Trevor was extremely professional, friendly and efficient, and I would highly recommend this company read less
